Beginning with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas, we created a unique museum exhibit that brings to life the science of movement, and more specifically: running. The main exhibit design was initially done by the Science Museum of Minnesota's Exhibit Design Services, but we took it to a new level. By blending 5 short throw projectors, we were able to make a seamless projected image over 55 feet / 17 meters long. The experience combines both live-action athletes and custom 3D animated characters, from Patrick Mahomes to T-Rex and the Philly Fanatic. The Run Exhibit is permanently installed at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas, The Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minnesota, and the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The most unique part of the project was filming the athletes. A large hanger needed to be rented to house 72 feet of green screen and a crew of over 20 people. 12 4K Red Cameras were set up to capture overlapping imagery, which was then stitched together to create the final composite. Each museum required unique characters to the region, which found us setting up the complex film production on-site in Minnesota and Philadelphia.
Over 300,000 visitors take part in the race in each location, each year.
